Disability Support Worker

Langford is seeking highly motivated candidates for open Support Worker positions. Desirable candidates will be resilient and solutions-focused with excellent communication skills.

As a Support Worker with Langford Support Services, you will have proven knowledge and experience in providing support to people living with disability who have complex support needs. You will have demonstrated experience of supporting participants to achieve their individual goals.

Knowledge and experience providing trauma-informed support is advantageous. Experience delivering support within frameworks including Behaviour Support Plans and Complex Health Care Plans is highly regarded.

Support Workers must have a sensitivity for working with participants, participants’ family members, and health professionals, and must always be guided by relevant policies and legislation.

You must be competent working both in teams and one-on-one with participants who have varying support needs while always maintaining a professional manner.

Flexibility and availability are a must, and successful candidates will be able to adapt with a rotating roster which includes evenings, night shifts, and weekends.

Full training will be provided to further your current skills. Langford will continuously support your professional development in this field with training and upskilling opportunities.

This role is remunerated at SCHADS Level II.
