Short Term Accommodation (STA) and Medium Term Accommodation (MTA)
We offer safe, high-quality supports in STA and MTA settings.
We strive to make each STA or MTA a comfortable, positive experience for every participant.
We work with each participant, their family and broader support team to make sure each Short Term Accommodation stay meets the needs of each participant and supports them to achieve their wellbeing goals.
STA looks different for each participant, but might be:
- a planned regular break
- a one-off overnight stay
- an opportunity for daily living skill development
- a part of a transition to independent living plan, or
- emergency/crisis support.
We currently offer 1:1 STA supports at Langford. This includes accommodation, staffing, meals, and activities.
We also offer Medium Term Accommodation for transitional supports.
We have multiple options for STA & MTA in the Hobart region, including a unit in Risdon Vale or hotel accommodation in Rosetta and New Town.
