Introducing: The Lighthouse Project

Because everyone deserves to be heard.
The Lighthouse Project is the name of our pilot program to build better communication at Langford.
We want to make sure participants, families, support workers and support networks are all on the same page.
We also don’t want to add work to people who are already busy supporting participants so we’re adding resources to our team.
At Langford, we believe all communication matters, and we want to make sure everyone is heard.

Here’s how it will work:
New Team Members, and a new role.
We’re recruiting some new team members to our management team, and we’re also introducing Support Worker Champions as a new role at Langford.
We’ll be checking in more often.
The Lighthouse Project is a 6 month pilot program – and if it’s working well, we’d like to build on it and that’s why your feedback is so important.
Celebrating the wins, big and small.
We want to celebrate more of the little things, as well as the big important stuff.
